Description
This Buffalo Chicken Dip is the perfect blend of creamy, cheesy and spicy. A favorite for game days, parties or casual hangouts, it’s super easy to make and will have everyone coming back for more.🧀
Ingredients
To make this Buffalo Chicken Dip just right, here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 cups shredded chicken (rotisserie, canned, or cooked) 🐔
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened) 🧀
- ½ cup hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot or your favorite) 🌶️
- ½ cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing, if you prefer)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices beef bacon (cooked and crumbled) 🥓
- Optional: ¼ cup blue cheese crumbles, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder (for extra flavor)
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook & Shred the Chicken
If using rotisserie or canned chicken, shred it into bite-sized pieces and set aside. You’ll need about 2 cups for this recipe.
2️⃣ Heat the Cream Cheese & Sauces
In a medium pot, combine cream cheese, ranch dressing, and hot sauce over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the cream cheese melts and the mixture is smooth. If you’re adding garlic powder and onion powder, mix them in now.
3️⃣ Combine Everything
Stir in the shredded chicken, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and half of the crumbled beef bacon. Once everything is mixed well, transfer it into a baking dish. Top with the remaining cheese and blue cheese crumbles (if using).
4️⃣ Bake It
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the dip for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
5️⃣ Add the Finishing Touch
Once out of the oven, sprinkle the rest of the crispy beef bacon on top for extra crunch and flavor.
Serve your Buffalo Chicken Dip with Beef Bacon alongside:
✅ Tortilla chips
✅ Crackers
✅ Fresh veggies (celery sticks, carrots, or cucumber slices)
It’s the perfect appetizer for any game day or party, and trust me—everyone will be coming back for more!
Notes
Adjust the spice to your liking! Add extra hot sauce for heat or throw in some jalapeños for an extra kick. You can also make it ahead of time and bake when ready to serve.
